Brain Fog

Lately, my brain fog has been intense. The other day at a restaurant, I absentmindedly put the straw in my drink — with the paper wrapper still on it. Later that day, my hand started moving oddly from the wrist, and by evening, sharp nerve pain hit. The neuropathy in my left hand returned, my eyes could barely focus, my eyelids were twitching, and my sense of taste went haywire.
I haven’t had this particular combo of symptoms in a while, so of course my first thought was: What changed?
With Lyme, there are always ups and downs, but I recently started using an at-home treatment machine (it’s much cheaper than repeated clinic visits). The problem? I didn’t increase my detox routine.
Yep — this dumb dumb (me) forgot to do the very thing I’m always telling others to do: DETOX.
So here’s your friendly reminder — don’t be like me and forget the detox part. Your body will thank you!
